Allagash White
Wow…I absolutely love this Witbier, a Belgian “white beer”.
It pours a beautiful cloudy golden pineapple color. It has a nice spicy citrus, possibly pineapple, aroma. The aroma is reflected in the taste, delish! It is a very crisp easy drinking beer with an ABV of 5.2%.
This would be great on a hot summer day, relaxing outdoors, grilling burgers…now we are talking.
Rating: A+

I will rate (ratings are highly subjective...one man's A is another's F and vice versa) each beer as follows:
A+ or A = Outstanding...a brew fit for a King.
B+ or B = Above Average...a Princely brew indeed.
C = Average...let the court Jester drink this.
D or F = Below Average...swill suitable only for the Peasants.

I must say that after reading your post, I’m going to have to find out if my local Wegmans (which blows away my local spirits shop, btw) carries this. I have recently taken quite the interest in new beers and your blog is a great idea.
I’m a massive IPA fan so keep them coming in…and if you mention Chocolate Stout then I’ll be forced to destroy you.
Allagash White is quite nice. After trying it I also looked for some different brews of theirs. If you have the opportunity try their Tripel, I rather enjoyed it.
